Tasker funeral home obituaries7/11/2023 ![]() The family will receive family & friends for visitation at the Riverside Funeral Home, Blyth Ontario on Sunday, October 30th from 2-4pm. Mom/Grandma you were deeply loved beyond measure and forever in our hearts. She was predeceased by her parents Florence (Jarvis) and John Williams along with 4 siblings, Inez Bissonnette, Vi Quinn, Eddie Williams and Norman Williams. They owned the Tasker Funeral Home and Furniture Store. Jean was born in Brockville where she met and married Lloyd and they and moved to Blyth in 1949. She treasured and maintained deep and lasting friendships and for all of those whose lives she touched, cherish the many memories of a long life well lived. Before retiring to her favourite place, their cottage at Amberley, she worked at Huron View in Clinton. No matter at what age she knew how important it was to cherish special moments and how to have fun! She was passionate about a good "Bridge" game and was in Blyth Bridge clubs for over 50 years. Jean loved life and lived it to the fullest. She loved that you shared in her "fun" and appreciated all your visits and kindness. Sincere gratitude to the Harbour Hill Retirement Home staff for the care provided to our mom. The love they shared with her was very special. Lauren (Ryan), Megan (Jon), Nathan, Kabrena and Colton along with her great grandchildren Myles and Tyler. Jean’s grandchildren and great grandchildren were her pride and joy. She was predeceased by her loving husband Lloyd Tasker with whom they shared 54 years of marriage.īeloved mom to Dale and his wife Pat, of Holland Landing, Ontario, Kevin and his wife Connie, of Goderich Ontario and Cherida and her husband Edward Riley of London, Ontario. Tim is survived by his wife, Shauna his sister, Nancy his oldest daughter Lindsey Myers, son-in-law Kyhl Myers, youngest daughter Kristen Tasker and his two grandchildren, Skyhlar and Lathen.With a deep sense of loss and yet grateful that our mom lived a life well led, we share the passing of Jean Tasker on Octoin her 96th year. Tim was predeceased by his parents and sister, Diane. Tim welcomed the career change in order to focus on family and be present at every event possible event for his two daughters. After his time coaching, Tim began a 37-year career as a Senior Sales Consultant with most of those years being employed by Curtis 1000. On Saturday, July 30, 2022, Tim and his championship team were enshrined in the LISD Hall of Honor. During his short career with Monterey, Tim was presented multiple coach of the year awards while on his way to obtaining the goal of winning a state championship in 1981. In 1978, Tim landed the girls basketball head coaching job at Monterey High School in Lubbock, Texas. The happily married couple went on to have two daughters, Lindsey Diane and Kristen Rene.Īfter graduation from New Mexico State University, Tim started his coaching and teaching career in Texas. In 1967, Tim met Shauna Hartless, and they wed in 1972 at the First Presbyterian Church in Hobbs, New Mexico. After graduating from Hobbs High School in 1970, Tim went on to study English at New Mexico State University on a basketball scholarship. Tim was a two-time basketball state champion as he played for his father and legendary coach, Ralph Tasker. Tim and his family attended First Presbyterian Church in Hobbs, New Mexico. Tim was born on September 6, 1952, to Ralph and Margaret Tasker in Hobbs, New Mexico. ![]() Tim John Tasker, 69, of Lubbock, Texas (via Hobbs, New Mexico), passed away on August 5, 2022, after a short and complicated battle with cancer.
