Layers of fear 2 achievement guide7/13/2023 ![]() ![]() Crouch and move through the rift in the wall. You will be in a bright room with a table and lots of plates. You’ll find coffin and your task is to close it. After interacting with it, immediately run forward as the chase begins. You will reach the gate, which opens with a lever on the wall to your left. If you could not complete the achievement, it is better to go to the main menu immediately after the collision and reload from the checkpoint. Important note: sometimes a rocket can stagger, but only direct collisions are counted. The rocket is controlled by the A and D keys, the rocket has only three positions, so try to stay centered. Your task is not to hit any object flying at you. You need to assemble a rocket and then fly through the open space. There, behind the curtain, you will find the handle of the detonator. You need to go in the door on the right and jump down. ![]() Open the door, but don’t rush to open the next, you’ll finish the Act. Open the door and move on along the bridge between the buildings. You’ll turn on the TV and the chase begins. Your task: stop the hand on the numbers so that the numbers next to the clock become equal. After completing this task, go back to the clock on the right. To your right will be a clock with a riddle, to the left, below, also a clock (with gears) that you need to put in place. In the middle of act you will get to the workshop where several mannequins work. Your task is to run through this place, without being hit by the light. In the middle of the Act 1, you will be taken to the set, where you will need to turn on the light using a switch on the wall. SOS: three short signals, three long signals, three short signals. You can get this achievement in Act 1 or Act 5. In your cabin you can find a door (on the first floor) labeled “Recording.” At any moment you can open it and achievement will pop. Obey Director twice and ignore his instructions twice. Ignore Director’s instructions three times out of four. I'm just picky because I like color lol.For different endings in the game, you can get three achievements and one for watching all endings. but if you simply don't care about that and you're in it for the story more than its visuals, you will not be disappointed upon Layers of Fear 2. In full-summary, I do recommend it to other gamers, it's just the lack of color made it a bit off-putting for me. and there will be many moments like that upon playing the game. Like Visage, the game does a very good job at inducing fear in you, the freaking manequins that appeared behind me on an elavator sequence gave me quite a fright. Many times the areas you explore are linear paths in black, white and grey but what the game lacks in colors, it definitely makes up in it's dreading atmosphere. Layers of Fear 2 is a very visually dark, almost achromatic kind of game. The game developers make an excellent job, even better than it's predecessor in keeping the player hooked with the adrenaline rush flowing through your skin as you're desparetly trying to get away from the monster to avoid getting slaughtered by it.Īll that being said, if you are thinking of buying the game, you must be aware that there will hardly be any colors involved. ![]() I made it to act 2 "The Hunt" (the game has 5 chapters, or acts as they are called here) and they all seem exciting. It definitely isn't a bad game by any means, I think fans of the series wil greatly appreciate it. You're essentially an actor in what appears to be a film studio on a luxury liner. Like it's predecessor, you collect many interesting objects along the way that tell you more about the game's backstory. The game also has a safe-mode which makes it accessible to players who may be more interested in exploring the plot, story and narrative rather than worrying about when they will be forced to run away again. Layers of Fear 2 takes on a much more classic approach to the horror genre, incorporating monster encounters with scripted chase scenes and tension-grabbing moments with unexpected twists and turns in every direction.
